Mediating Effect of Digital Addiction on The Relationship Between Academic Motivation and Life Satisfaction in University Students

In this study, the mediating role of digital addiction in relationship between academic motivation and life satisfaction was examined. The present study quantitative nature correlational design used. data were collected through Google Forms. 191 university students selected by convenience sampling method participated study. Personal Information Form, Academic Motivation Scale, Digital Addiction Scale Life Satisfaction used to collect data. Statistical analyses carried out two stages. First, means, standard deviations, skewness kurtosis coefficients variables correlation calculated. second stage, it examined whether plays a satisfaction. PROCESS macro model 4 examine role. made mediation addiction, 5000 resampling options preferred with bootstrap technique. has revealed that there is positive direct significant intrinsic extrinsic sub-dimensions satisfaction, negative amotivation sub-dimension addition, exists addiction. addition these results, also negatively predicted These results suggest partial effect on Findings discussed based literature recommendations accordingly.
